Social media is the way of communicating today. We text, message, Insta, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat our way through our day. We are entertained by what we see and even compare ourselves to what we believe. Social media has also paved the way for businesses like myself who build themselves on our followers all over the world. Perhaps we are creators and build audiences based on eating certain things, like English foods. Perhaps we have audiences that are attracted to our funny stories, our makeup tutorials, our animal's crazy antics. For me, its the value we hope to impart to each person, reminding them no matter the size, shape, color, age, status - we are each fierce creatures made into fantastic humans who are valued beyond rubies and pearls. I do that by live videos 7 times a week. Sometimes I am cute. Sometimes I am a hot mess. At times, I am without makeup or need hair color or my wrinkles are prevalent because I do not have the ring light in use. Regardless...I show up, in all my glory, because you guys are my people. You are my tribe. Seeing you makes MY day. Living the Curvy Life is exactly that - sometimes being put together on our best days for the whole world to see - and other times, knowing the truth of the matter is that NO ONE is put together every day. No life is exactly as planned. Living the Curvy Life has nothing at all with the size of a person but of knowing that life is FULL of unexpected turns. Even the most scheduled person will still have an issue pop up in the day that effects the rest of their afternoon, even if by a minute. Living the Curvy Life is about how we handle those "unexpecteds", how we deal with sharp turns that cause us to skid sideways and occasionally lose control. That's Living the Curvy Life.
